Elafonisi Tour Chania Polish English guide bus starts at 08:35 from the center of Chania! We pick up people from all the hotels or recognizable points located on the main road. We arrive in Kolymbari at about 09:20.
The Elafonisi tour first stop is in Agia Sofia cave for 35 minutes, where you can visit the cave or just take pictures of the Topolia gorge.
The route to Elafonisi is very interesting! You have the opportunity to see traditional villages, Topolia gorge, and the wild beauty of southwestern Crete while approaching the beach.
At Elafonisi Beach you have 4 hours of free time. You can stay at the beach or walk to the island of Elafonisi which is protected from Natura.

Elafonisi is a small island about 200 meters offshore, in west Crete, 75 km southwest of Chania. Between the island and the shore, there is a shallow lagoon, a natural pool about 1 meter deep.
The colour of the sea around the island is crystal clear turquoise. The sand is white and pink and while being there you feel like you are at an exotic paradise place of spectacular beauty! It is one of the best beaches in the world with thousands of visitors every day. It is a protected area from Natura where you can also find white lilies, cedar trees, and rare species of birds and animals.
At Elafonisi beach you will find canteens with fast food and cold drinks, umbrellas and sunbeds, chemical toilets, showers, lifeguards, and water sports activities.
Also, kiosks selling traditional products, beach staff, and handmade jewelry.

Tour was worth the money and Elafonisi worth seeing. Bus driver (Nikolaus) was very good driver and drove peacefully by the narrow roads. Tour guide told interesting facts about Crete also in english. Slight minus that we weren’t aware that the bus will stop at supermarket and souvenir shop.
