Preveli Palm Beach information:
Preveli beach is located in south Rethymnon at the exit of the imposing Kourtaliotis gorge where the Great River flows and is also known as Lake Preveli or Phoenix. It is one of the most famous beaches in Crete. At the exit of the river, a sandy beach with pebbles and sand is formed, with seawater being very cool due to the river! The area is protected from NATURA without any umbrellas. Staying overnight is officially prohibited.
Kourtaliotiko gorge information:
One of the most beautiful gorges in Crete with the Kourtaliotis river flowing inside! 2,5 km in length and its towering slopes reach 600 meters in height. Many people visit it during the summer and dive into its cold crystal clear waters!
Damnoni village information:
Lies on the south coast of Rethymnon, peaceful with a sandy turquoise water beach! One of our team’s favourite destinations!!
Plakias village information:
Lies on the south coast of Rethymnon and used to be a favorite destination for hippies during the 60s! Having a 1300 meter long sandy beach is a popular resort and a base for visiting the natural beauties of the region. One of our team’s favorite destinations in Crete!!
